Principal – Payments, Infosys Consulting

The Role – What You’ll Do

As a Principal, you will lead teams that execute strategic programs tackling complex, industry-specific challenges, while further deepening knowledge in your area of specialization. You will work directly and closely with clients, affording opportunities to build relationships with business and technology leaders in the Payments space.

You will work with the top Fortune 500 Financial Institutions to envision new products, define domain blueprints and roadmaps, redefine experiences and processes, monetize data, modernize payments infrastructure, and drive innovation.

You will have the opportunity to develop and leverage your industry experiences and relationships to bring innovative ideas and insightful perspectives to life and become established as a thought leader in the industry. You will leverage your knowledge of the industry and market to help define the next generation of our consulting offerings and services.

Basic Qualifications

• Strong experience leading transformational programs in Payments areas such as B2B Payments, Disbursements, Receivables, Card Processing, Consumer/Retail Payments, Wallets, DeFi
• Hands-on experience in one or more areas of payments processing, including product design/management, origination, clearing & settlement, messaging/message formats
• 10+ years of experience, either in management consulting or directly at Banks, Payment Service Providers, Payment Product Vendors, and FinTechs
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• 5-7 years of experience working on change initiatives in the Payments space
• Prior experience with market-leading Payment Hub products, Payment Processors, and Card Processors
• Strong knowledge of one or more payment schemes for High Value, Mass Payments, Immediate Payments, and P2P Payments
• Working knowledge of Design Thinking
