Ui Ux Designer Jobs at IOTA Foundation

The IOTA Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2017 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany. The mission of the Foundation is to drive the development of new distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) that would enable innovative and permissionless ecosystems. 

Our core technology is known as the Tangle, a new generation of DLT that is specifically designed to be the open and free trust layer for the Internet-of-Things (IoT). In order to realize our potential, the Foundation is actively engaged in engineering, research and community organizing efforts around the Tangle.

In this role, you will:

• Play a key role in creating highly iterative design process to enhance the experience of our users for any new products or services that IOTA launches
• Uncover unknown user problems by conducting various methods of research and validation to understand the user's needs and behaviors.
• Gather, evaluate and prioritize requirements from user research, competitor analysis, and ideation process with internal/external stakeholders
• Conceptualise ideas and effectively communicate research findings to the relevant stakeholders
• Produce scenarios, flowcharts and wireframes before translating them into fully-fledged workable solutions
• Improve and implement design feedback processes to help scale the UX/UI team

We are looking for someone who:

• Possess a keen interest in how Web3 technologies works and have participated in UX design projects for large-scale customer facing platforms
• Can design holistic UX frameworks and establish user-centered design systems and principles
• Has an innate sense of curiosity and a keen sense of detail for UX design quality
• Is personally invested and/or have UX design experience in the blockchain/DLT/crypto space
• Understands that independence is important, but teamwork is critical
• Nice to have: Ability to turn flowcharts and wireframes into aesthetically pleasing UI design
