Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand key trends and develop analysis on:
  • Emerging trends within new and growing technologies such as AI, data, IoT, AR/VR, Blockchain, Advanced Manufacturing etc.
  • Tech trends in key vertical areas, such as auto, consumer, cybersecurity, education, financial, health, and retail
  • Behavior-driven tech trends, such as cloud, consumerization of enterprise, on-demand and sharing economy
  • Data-driven trends like funding and investor trends
  • Analyse startup financial metrics to assess viability, growth opportunity
  • Create data-driven research reports that synthesize and dissect key areas of interest for enterprise clients
  • Develop and lead client presentations to discuss prospective startup partners and provide recommendations
  • Outreach to and maintain relationships with startup founders
  • Constantly evaluate and improve the KITE analyst process and reporting frameworks to deliver stronger analyst and client outcomes

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a BA in business related major
  • Must be extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the startup ecosystem, closely following venture funding and all things technology
  • Ability to ingest a client’s needs, create a brief and efficiently locate partners against that brief
  • Strong writing and presentation skills - must be comfortable writing detailed analysis reports and presenting strong opinions to high-level executives
  • Ability to evaluate market size and viability of business models
  • Ability to synthesize data and develop meaningful conclusions
  • Proficiency in Keynote, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Ability to create and navigate term sheets and other documents associated with partnership deals
