Working within the Engineering team, the Test Engineer will ensure the development of testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code, and high confidence in the quality our deployments

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

-Developing test automation frameworks to ensure code quality.  -Writing code to catch critical-path defects and to expand on the test suite when new features are built.  -Translating technical requirements and user stories into test plans. -Developing and maintaining dashboards for reporting test results in real-time. -Monitoring code coverage across our products and ensuring that we're improving on it. -Collaborating with UX to do Visual QA (VQA) audits on our client applications before release to ensure that there aren’t any showstopper-type bugs. -Collaborating with Product Owners to detect problem areas in the features we are building. -Finding the root-cause of issues and working with developers to find solutions. -Sharing and learning knowledge with the rest of the team.

Must haves: 3-5 years of experience in test engineering on a development team in building out the test infrastructure. You have built out end-to-end test suites.  You know how to use test automation tools and frameworks, such as BrowserStack, Device Farm, and Selenium.  You have experience using performance monitoring tools, such as DataDog and NewRelic. You are familiar with issue tracking tools such as Jira and Asana. You are a self-starter, taking initiative in an ambiguous space preferably within a start-up environment.
