Essential job functions:
- Design and deliver rapid end-to-end proof of concepts, prototypes and production software and device solutions,
- Work closely with the TIO Marketplace team (Product Managers, Concept Designers, Visual designers) to develop solutions independently and together with distributed sprint teams, using modern software development and agile methodologies,
- Demonstrate technology innovation best practices and thought leadership, leveraging the latest technology innovations to constantly invent and simplify,
- Know when to provide prototypes versus when to develop software with quality and stability in mind,
- Be the jack of all trades to help with various stages of development and have the versatility and time management to assist all levels of the development team, whether validating a new start up platform, incubating a new feature or building a fast Minimum Viable Product,
- Help the Partnerships team test and validate key start up and vendor solutions in order to help accelerate build/ buy partner decisions,
- Communicate the effectiveness of emerging technologies and help unlock new opportunities at Nike.

- Passion for technology and learning, a natural curiosity, with a love for delivering real-world results in a fast-paced environment,
- Finger on the pulse of emerging and deep technologies, always keen to stay up-to-date with new technology trends,
- Comfortable with learning and using existing tools and libraries to quickly solve problems according to community standards,
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the product.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or related field,
- Experience with UI design, wireframes and visual layout,
- Experience with modern development and build strategies such as microservices, containers, lambdas, continuous integration and delivery, unit testing, static analysis, automated integration tests, refactoring,
- Knowledge of conventional and cloud-based infrastructure and basic networking,
- Experience configuring and setting up CI/CD environments, has a deep understanding on Databases, Security best practices,
- Front-end Qualifications: experience with ReactJS, FE Design patterns, ES6, Webpack, SASS, Desirable: Typescript, Jest & Unit tests, Redux, React Native,
- Back-end Qualifications: NodeJS or Java SpringBoot or GoLang,
- AWS - Networking, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, Lambda, ELB,
- Containerization - Docker or Podman,
- Orchestration - Kubernetes or EKS or ECS,
- Infra-as-a-Code - Terraform or AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK,
- Scripting - bash,
- Desirable: (Web3 - Blockchain, Ethereum, Smart Contracts).

About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer in TIO, you will report into the Director, Marketplace Experimentation in Poland, working closely with the Marketplace Studio based in the Europe Headquarters. Together with a team of engineers, you will help explore, validate and develop new concepts and initiatives to serve our athletes* and make their lives easier.
With teammates in Portland, Netherlands, Boston, San Francisco, and Poland, you’ll be joining a global organization to ideate, define, and deliver technology innovation solutions for use within Nike, as part of existing Nike products, and for new lines of business.
