Senior Fullstack Engineer - Tax (m/f/d). Remote
What you will be doing:
- Be part of a collaborative and experienced engineering team, working cross-functionally with our Head of Engineering, Product Manager, and Tax specialists
- Design and implement front and back-end solutions and own them (”You build it, you run it”)
- Contribute to the architecture evolution, solving scalability problems and thinking about how to make the system more resilient to errors
- Work with high-scale data, so be ready to optimize your code for performance
- Have a user-centric view, providing a smooth experience while keeping technical excellence
- Collaborate with other teams and different chapters to improve our codebase, propose improvements and share new initiatives
- Work aligned with our company objectives, with full freedom to propose how to achieve them
What you need.
- 6+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer involved in the development of frontend and backend solutions
- Deep practical knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and React
- Experience with NodeJS and Javascript frameworks for backend development
- Understanding of full-stack web concepts, such as transport layers, networking, caching, etc.
- Experienced with relational databases and at least relevant hands-on experience with one implementation, e.g. PostgreSQL or MariaDB
- You are a self-learner, highly motivated, and not afraid to pick up new technologies
- Nice to have: Commercial experience with NestJS or NextJS
