About the position:
O.G. is a small company and will remain a small company for the foreseeable future. This requires you, the co-founder & CTO, to be a subject matter expert capable of implementing and managing a large, multi-step NFT marketplace project. It also opens the door to much higher equity compensation than you would receive at a larger company.
As CTO, how you choose to implement things is up to you, and you will not be micromanaged. As co-founder, you will have a say in the direction of the company, and will be rewarded with equity rather than salary.
What you'll work on
- Creating and deploying an NFT (ERC-721) marketplace exclusive to our NFTs.
- Regularly handle the technical creation (minting) of NFTs using cost-effective layer 2 frameworks like polygon.
- Launch/manage the technical aspects of the DAO
What you'll receive
- As a bootstrapping co-founder, you will not be paid in salary. You will instead receive a significant percentage of each NFT/watch sale. You will be the co-owner of a brand. This means your compensation is proportional to the success of the company, and is not capped.
Requirements:
- Experience building front-end UIs
- Experience building smart contracts using Solidity, web3.js/ether.js
- Strong understanding of ERC-721 standards
Great to haves:
- Experience working on/building NFT marketplaces
- Experience using thirdweb JS library
- Experience with NFC tags
- Experience in/passion for e-commerce
- A long-term oriented & entrepreneurial mindset
