Job Brief Summary
We are looking for a talented and motivated FP&A Analyst with well-rounded experience across multiple organizations to join our growing FP&A team. You will be responsible for planning and analyzing the company’s financials to ensure accurate reporting, support informed decision-making, budget control, and ongoing monitoring. You will work closely with business owners to provide financial insights into critical decisions based on Prime Trust’s financial analysis and performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate budget vs. actuals analysis, investigate and explain critical variances, trends, and drivers.
- Provide support for the annual planning and financial forecasting processes.
- Prepare financial analyses to monitor and facilitate critical operating and financial trends concerning revenue, expenses, and headcount trending.
- Prepare presentations to senior management on a quarterly and monthly basis.
- Assist in key month-end activities to provide oversight of completeness and accuracy of the monthly reports.
- Increase productivity by developing automated financial reports.
- Assist finance management with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Provide strategic decision-making and support for the short-term and long-term growth of the company.
Experience and Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to put together sophisticated informative presentations with minimal direction and oversight.
- Financial skills, including P&L analysis, financial planning, and financial modeling
- Self-motivated person who can work independently.
- Advanced Excel / G-suite knowledge.
- Experience Netsuite and Planful is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Strong collaborative team worker.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Education
- 2+ years of FP&A experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA or CPA is a plus)
