What You'll Do
As with any growth business, roles and responsibilities will evolve and here's a rundown of expectations as they stand today:
- Break down & interrogate client asks/RFPs in order to translate client asks/objectives, audience data, and cultural trends into meaningful insights, opportunities, and integrated creative programs for our clients
- Develop and write strategy for client briefs and projects, ultimately to provide creative inspiration and direction for creators to ensure the Creator programs/ deliverables are on-strategy and on-brand
- Conduct research: Meltwater social listening, Tubular audience values/interests/behaviors/shopping affinity, analyzing industry trends, synthesizing data reports, staying up to date on cultural and consumer trends to develop insights
- Support the generation of new business and revenue opportunities by working closely across different departments: Brand Partnership, Business Development, Creator services on strategic development
- Sell through strategic visions and programs to clients independently and/or with the guidance of Strategy Directors
- 4+ years of experience in developing and selling through digital and/or integrated marketing strategies and solutions
- You have experience working with various consumer brands/verticals
- You have a natural appetite for research and are a culture nerd who is able to translate data and trends into actionable insights and weave together a compelling narrative
- You can concept, write, build, and present original insights-based ideas clearly and concisely
- You have a solid understanding of the social media advertising ecosystem and industry innovations (a fundamental understanding of marketing 101 or in-house experience client side is a bonus)
- You thrive in an environment where collaboration, flexibility and scrappiness are valued more than job titles
- You have outstanding interpersonal skills, a relentless work ethic, a spirit of collaboration and a 'roll up your sleeves' mentality with the flexibility to support any size project
