Web3 Learning Platform Engineer

We are looking for someone who can help set up and maintain a learning platform for web3, and contribute expert content and learning resources to help others grow and practice IPFS, IPLD, Libp2p, and Filecoin.

About the Role...

• Collaborate in the design of a wide range of learning and development programs, including the creation of new PL Network Launchpad program content to onboard new contributors/hires
• Work on early iterations of Launchpad, being proactive about learning the PLN projects and network to find the resources to learn and disseminate knowledge about PLN protocols and projects
• The ability to use or learn tools to create video tutorials, quizzes, interactive learning activities, and version controlled learning content.
• Create, source, and organize various educational materials, live trainings, events/cohorts and mini projects to implement PL Network Launchpad and related programs.
• Develop and implement a learning platform that enables Launchpad Cadets to access the tools and resources needed for building the next iteration of the internet and computing.
• Implement and track metrics to help gain a deeper understanding of what is and is not helping users learn and grow in their understanding and usage of web3 technologies.
• Scale the PL Network Launchpad and related programs by utilizing resources at your disposal, bringing on collaborators and documenting best practices for others to independently run similar programs

Requirements...

• BA/BS degree
• Experience in learning and development or leading team-wide training
• Ability to create strong community bonds between new hires
• Ability to drive programs and execute on projects independently and resourcefully
• Ability to manage and gain insights from data, and action on learnings
• Experience setting up and integrating a web platform including setup & design, front-end components, CI & testing, and database synchronization.
• Experience with using and maintaining publishing tools including markdown, version control & revision tools, static site generators, and tracking & analysis tools such as Google Analytics
• Ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing internal and external environments, and working through decisions without complete information
• Excellent communication facilitation, and presentation skills; the ability to translate data for different audiences
• Thrive in a collaborative team environment, and possess the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with all levels of the organization, achieve credibility, and have the ability to influence outcomes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with your own work and reviewing the work of others

Bonus Points...

• Experience with tech-Launchpad or training programs
• Past experience in remote and distributed companies
• Strong interest in cryptocurrencies, OSS and decentralized work
• Working knowledge of Github, Notion, and Discord
