Role’s Objective

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Data Analyst to join our Crypto Operations & Asset Management team. In this role, you will work closely with crypto operations, asset managers, and finance professionals to support data-driven decisions across digital asset strategies. You’ll build tools and dashboards that monitor risk, support Accounting and Finance, and enhance asset management performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management & Querying: Use SQL to extract, clean, and aggregate large datasets from internal databases, centralized exchanges (CEXs), and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols
• Dashboarding & Visualization: Build interactive dashboards and real-time analytics tools using Python (e.g., Plotly, Dash, Streamlit) or BI tools to monitor trading performance, P&L, risk exposure, and wallet activity
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain models for position sizing, strategy backtesting, performance attribution, and scenario analysis tailored to crypto asset behavior
• Trading Analytics: Track trading activity across venues, identify slippage, latency, gas costs, and liquidity dynamics
• Collaboration: Work with quant, finance, and operations teams to ensure consistency of data across pipelines and platforms. Collaborate with traders on signal and performance analysis
• On-Chain & Off-Chain Data Integration: Ingest and reconcile data from block explorers, subgraphs, APIs (e.g., Coingecko, Glassnode, Dune), and internal trade logs
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of audit schedules related to asset portfolios
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of asset valuations, transfers, and disposals
• Coordinate with the finance and compliance teams to validate asset data integrity and reconcile audit findings
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on skills in SQL and Python (especially Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, or similar)
• Experience building dashboards and data tools for trading, asset management, or financial applications
• Solid understanding of crypto markets, trading strategies, and DeFi concepts
• Experience working with CEX and/or DEX data (e.g., Binance, Coinbase Pro, Uniswap, Curve)
• Ability to translate business questions into clean, well-documented code and clear visualizations
  
  

Preferred Candidate Experience

• Previous experience in a crypto trading desk, hedge fund, crypto VC, or asset manager.
• Familiarity with on-chain analytics, wallet tracking, and smart contract event data.
• Knowledge of blockchain APIs, The Graph, Dune Analytics, or web3.py is a plus.
• Understanding of trading concepts such as liquidity provisioning, market making, AMMs, yield farming, or perpetuals

Location/Type This is a remote, full-time position required to work 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Eastern that reports to the Manager of Asset Management

Salary Range $60,000 – $80,000, depending on experience
