Fantom Foundation is hiring a
Web3 Blockchain Developer / Architect for Golang

Compensation: $120k - $150k

Location: Cayman Islands

We’re hiring developers who are interested in the blockchain / distributed computing space to write code for consensus. Working under our Chief Technology Officer Quan Nguyen and lead developer Egor Lysenko, both of whom have extensive backgrounds in research and development both academically and in industry, they will guide you in learning about different algorithms around consensus, and you will assist them in implementing and testing these algorithms in code.

You can work in our Sydney office, and remotely. Working hours are flexible.

This is a full-time role, although we are also open to employing part-time.

You will:

  • Design algorithms to improve the security and performance of go-opera (https://github.com/Fantom-foundation/go-opera)

  • Implement algorithms in go-opera

  • Test go-opera codebase

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Good knowledge of Golang

  • Interest in blockchain / distributed computing

  • Ability to work with others in a team
