Your Role

TL; DR: you are growing the brand. You will own the brand and be responsible for leading brand strategy, growing the brand’s awareness, and managing all merchandising and marketing efforts. You will be a strategic thinker and leader, who is excited by the unique challenge of delivering brand and product storytelling in an engaging way that resonates with target audiences. The ideal candidate will be able to balance business priorities with brand excellence. A deep passion for brand, creativity, strategy, analytics, and consumer trends is required.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead PTC brand strategy, direction and development of a wide range of merchandising and collaboration initiatives
  • Manage brand storytelling across social channels, PTC’s website and IRL activation (both at PTC owned and operated events as well as co-produced moments)
  • Think critically and creatively around which brands to align with PTC for collaboration as PTC continues to grow its audience, while remaining authentic and true to its ethos
  • Lead day-to-day management of programs to drive effective consumer engagement, conversion, and retention
  • Translate complex brand and product storytelling into digestible formats and key messages for target PTC audiences
  • Track category trends and competition to have an in-depth awareness and knowledge of the latest content trends, site experiences, and storytelling to create new ideas and ways to bring the PTC brand narrative to life
  • Plan and execute projects across all relevant platforms and software tools, leveraging email marketing/SMS marketing platforms, Shopify, Dropbox, Photoshop & Adobe
  • Spearhead influencer marketing strategies by staying up-to-date with relevant influencers and leading outreach, conversion, and content strategy for these influencers
  • Work with cross functional team members and lead brand on multiple projects from kick-off to completion, including the strategy, creative and design development, deployment and optimization
  • Manage week-to-week execution of timeline tasks, including weekly status updates to leadership
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships within the firm’s network and industry-wide

Your Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing and merchandising
  • Experience in leadership positions at eCommerce driven brands
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented self-starter who is comfortable working independently as well as influencing and driving consensus across the organization, from cross-functional teams to top executives
  • Love of all things brand with an extraordinarily high attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, work though ambiguity, and prioritize projects based on business needs
  • Flexible and open to constantly changing landscapes and situations and knows how to prioritize and reprioritize in a truly entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with all relevant marketing/eCommerce technology platforms including email marketing/SMS marketing, Shopify, Instagram/TikTok, Dropbox, Photoshop & Adobe
  • Great administrative and organization skills – networking, influencing, collaborating – and a proven ability to build trust with entrepreneurs and management teams
  • Capacity to manage regular timelines and fast-track/opportunistic developments
  • Self-motivated with an internal drive to take on the next task when the first task is done
