At Improbable, we want to help businesses navigate the increasingly more complex and intertwined world. Enterprise metaverses break down the organisational and technical siloes that have meant digital twins have not been fully exploitable by the broader business. They empower entire companies to continually optimise and prepare for the future by providing a digital representation that can be visualised, analysed, explored and experimented upon. We use enterprise metaverses to empower businesses to effectively explore future scenarios and respond to change and disruption more effectively by using digital twins and enterprise metaverses.

Enterprise Insights is a newly formed business unit of 40+ people within Improbable, and we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the sales of digital twin solutions within the supply chain market.

You will be surrounded by people who want to improve everything and everyone around them, and who compel you to improve yourself. We’re motivated by the fulfilment of solving hard problems to achieve something profound and transformative.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and strategically positioning our digital twin offerings to meet the needs of the supply chain industry. Your goal will be to expand our customer base, increase revenue, and drive the adoption of digital twin technology within the supply chain market.

Your Opportunity

    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning of digital twin solutions within the supply chain market
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential customers in the supply chain industry; lead negotiations and close sales deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the customer and the company
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and technical teams, to ensure successful delivery and implementation of digital twin solutions
    • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to educate potential customers about the benefits and value proposition of digital twin technology in the supply chain
    • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to the management team
    • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote digital twin solutions and build brand awareness

Why You're made for this

    • Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably within the supply chain industry
    • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and related technologies
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
    • Self-motivated and target-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
    • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and the ability to identify market opportunities
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
    • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events

We are 'Flexa' certified, meaning our entire employee experience is anchored around flexibility and autonomy.

While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply.
