Offchain Labs has developed a suite of scaling solutions for Ethereum. This includes Arbitrum, an Optimistic Rollup, that instantly scales apps, reducing costs and increasing capacity, without sacrificing Ethereum's security. Porting contracts to Arbitrum requires no code changes or downloads since it’s compatible with existing Ethereum developer languages and tooling. Arbitrum today is the leading Ethereum scaling solution with dominant market share including hundreds of apps on the platform and over 40% of all rollup liquidity. Offchain labs also contributes to the Ethereum core protocol with the Prysm consensus client.

We are hiring a Business Operations Associate who will be a critical member of our team to help our company grow and scale. You will be responsible for executing on a variety of projects and tasks that will have cross functional impact. We are looking for candidates who can wear multiple hats with a scrappy problem solving attitude.
What You'll Do:
• Day-to-day responsibilities include procurement, vendor management, employee onboarding/offboarding, office management, and enforcement of company policies.
• Work closely with cross functional colleagues on IT, finance, legal and HR assignments.
• Review and improve efficiency for existing procedures.
• Evaluate and implement tools to improve workflow.
• Support tasks that are in place and follow up as needed.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
• Some early tasks that have been identified:
- Working with vendors for the office setup
- Working with the security on the MDM roll-out
- Being the point of contact when whom to go to is unclear
- Implementing an approval tracking system
- Create an inventory tracking system for the office
Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree with a history of academic and professional success.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-past startup environment.
• Problem solver and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Someone willing to get down in the trenches and get their hands dirty.
• Team player who is comfortable working in a high-growth, constantly evolving environment.
• High empathy and strong business EQ.
• Humble with a results-focused mindset, bringing excellence to everything you do.
• Track record of assisting with complex, ambiguous projects with multiple partners successfully.
• Someone who can manage and organize a large swath of information and have it readily available for those who request it.
• Confidence with numbers and analyzing data.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
