Web3 Communications Lead, Employee Communications & Engagement

Reporting to OpenSea’s Head of Communications, you will work closely with Communications, Marketing, and People Leads to build and execute OpenSea’s first employee communications program, and shape the employee brand for the fastest growing consumer tech company in history. Responsibilities - Build and execute OpenSea’s Internal Communications and Employee Engagement strategies. - Partner closely with Communications Leads to create a transparent, internal drumbeat of storytelling, announcements and messages that are cohesive with news and external communications. - Develop clear, engaging company and executive communications that consistently connect OpenSea’s mission and operating principles, while driving awareness of our strategy, objectives, and progress. - Become an essential and trusted partner to leaders, coaching them to more effectively tell stories, manage change, and model OpenSea principles through employee communications. - Oversee (and overhaul) OpenSea’s All Hands – and help make every internal company meeting feel like an inclusive and memorable experience. - Partner closely with the People team to help overhaul OpenSea’s onboarding experience for new employees, make sure new OpenSea team members know the company story, mission, vision for the future of the space. - Partner with Communications team members to help empower employees to evangelize OpenSea through internal updates, messaging and more.

Desired Experience - Proven track record helping companies build employer brands, create trusting employee environments, and navigate change. - In-house experience – ideally in a high-growth startup environment – leading internal communications. - Preferably has prior experience with executive, change management, marketing, and/or crisis communications. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, editing skills, and a presence /ability to present to the company. - Excellent at communicating up, across, and within the team with clarity and purpose. - Exceptional organizational and project management skills; ability to execute with ease in a high speed environment.  Attention to detail, and follow-through. - Ability to adapt quickly to change in a highly dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities; exhibits flexibility, resilience, and grace under pressure. - Low ego, high impact, team player.
