We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Relations (PR) Lead to join our team in Hong Kong or Singapore. The PR Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations campaigns aimed at enhancing our company's reputation and promoting our brand on a global scale. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to position OSL as the leading, secure, and trusted digital assets exchange. The PR Lead will collaborate closely with the executive team to formulate and implement PR strategies aligned with our business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the company's brand, build brand awareness, establish thought leadership, and promote our platform effectively.
• Content Creation: Develop compelling messaging and content for press releases, media kits, and other PR materials, effectively communicating the company's mission, values, and projects to target audiences.
• Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to maximize media coverage and brand visibility.
• Proactive Outreach: Proactively pitch story ideas and secure media placements across relevant publications, podcasts, and other media channels.
• Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyze media coverage and social media trends to evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Crisis Management: Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work in partnership with internal teams, including marketing, legal, compliance, and executive leadership, to ensure PR activities align with business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Event Coordination: Organize and coordinate media events, conferences, and speaking engagements to enhance exposure and thought leadership opportunities.
• Industry Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in PR and communications to maintain innovative and effective strategies.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of PR professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of work experience in PR, communications, or media relations, with at least 4 years in an agency environment, preferably with a global focus and extensive contacts within financial media.
• Prior experience in Crypto, Fintech, Payments, or technology sectors is required.
• Excellent English and Mandarin is essential for effective communication with stakeholders in Mainland China.
• Deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities to effectively develop and implement PR campaigns, while staying adaptable to consistently changing landscapes. Ability to manage crises.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to create compelling messages. Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor PR professionals while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
