Position Overview
CleanSpark is seeking a proactive, diplomatic, and highly motivated individual to serve as Community Engagement Manager for our operations in Tennessee. This role will serve as the company’s primary on-the-ground representative in the state, helping to foster strong local relationships, represent CleanSpark at public meetings, and support open, thoughtful communication with community stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can engage seamlessly with elected officials, business leaders, and community partners—while also staying closely aligned with CleanSpark’s internal policy and operations teams. This role will also support CleanSpark’s commitment to being a positive community partner by helping to identify opportunities to support local initiatives, civic organizations, and charitable efforts in the areas where we operate.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent CleanSpark at city council meetings, public hearings, stakeholder gatherings, and local events.
- Build and maintain relationships with local elected officials, community leaders, business groups, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for CleanSpark to contribute to local organizations, community events, or charitable initiatives.
- Support open, consistent communication with local stakeholders and represent CleanSpark as a trusted and reliable community partner.
- Act as a liaison between CleanSpark’s internal teams and local stakeholders to support clear and constructive communication.
- Work closely with the VP of Policy and Government Relations to ensure consistent engagement and messaging strategies.
- Assist with planning and execution of outreach events, site tours, and community-facing initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, community relations, field organizing, or a related area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse audiences.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing responsibilities independently.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Tennessee, including attendance at evening or weekend meetings when needed.
- Professional demeanor suitable for engaging with elected officials and community leaders.
- Familiarity with energy, infrastructure, or digital asset industries is a plus.
$65,000 - $85,000 a year
