Web3 Detection Engineer

As a Coinsquare Detection Engineer, and part of Coinsquare’s Security Operations Team, you will help develop tools and techniques to detect malicious activity on the Coinsquare platform.  You will work towards automating alert triage, building detection logic, and analyzing security events.  Part of your role is ensuring that Coinsquare’s infrastructure and endpoints are actively monitored and incidents are thoroughly investigated. You’ll understand the risk landscape and research potential vulnerabilities to Coinsquare’s employees, clients and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience developing prototype detections in Python or another similar language with a willingness to learn Python.  They will have experience working with Splunk, developing data pipelines for ingesting data, and dashboards for visualizing and consuming alerts.  They will have experience with incident response and technical investigations.
