Web3 Director, Brokerage System

Impact:

As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for guiding our engineering team in creating advanced, secure, and scalable blockchain-based solutions. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the technical direction of our products and ensuring we continue to meet the high standards we set for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure efficient execution of projects.
2. Develop strategies for technological growth and advancements aligned with the crypto market trends.
3. Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
4. Work closely with other departments like Product, Sales, and Compliance to align tech strategy with business goals.
5. Oversee system architecture and proactively address potential issues.
6. Ensure timely and successful delivery of our software solutions according to client needs.
7. Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency field.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards.
9. Build strong relationships with stakeholders including customers, partners, and vendors.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
2. 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in leadership roles.
3. Proven experience leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
4. Exceptional project management skills and ability to delegate effectively.
5. Experience with agile development methods and practices.
6. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and willing to explore new technologies for potential implementation.

Base pay for this role is expected to be between $275,000 and $325,000 USD. This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as skillset, experience, and qualifications.
