The Director of International Operations primary responsibility is to manage the global Operations and ensure efficient cross functional support. They will be responsible for influencing global and country-level departmental strategy, as well as managing the daily operations by anticipating, guiding development of, and implementing required systems, procedures, and programs to consistently meet CoinFlip’s standards. This leader will also be critical in the roll-out of new product offerings to various countries. Backgrounds in technology, product, project management, Lean, Six Sigma and operations will all be important for this roll. We seek an individual prepared to roll up their sleeves, while also understanding the importance of establishing scalable processes.

Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operational activity of operations processes and staff globally
    • Work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, Product and Technology teams to define and execute a scalable repeatable global process maximizing the effectiveness of both our business processes and supporting systems
    • Identify training needs within the team; coordinate and monitor cross- training efforts within the team to ensure members are knowledgeable in all technical areas
    • Facilitate communication within the team and other functional groups regarding best practices and process improvements
    • Maintain awareness and communicate new corporate initiatives that impact business operations
    • Collaborate with other department leaders to improve inefficiencies in processes
    • Evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices to provide value-added customer service
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or engineering
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, preference with international and cross-functional team management
    • Strong management of global direct and indirect staff and projects required
    • Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers
    • Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability and experience in a detail-oriented position
    • Ability and willingness to perform in fast paced, rapidly changing environment

Nice to Have:

    • Experience working for a rapidly growing startup, and managing change  
    • Experience in financial services, fintech and/or crypto
