About the role:

We are looking for a Director of Ecosystem to build and grow our ecosystem (L1s/L2s, DeFi protocols, and liquidity providers.) You will be responsible for and leading all aspects of the ecosystem development cycle: lead strategic initiatives, form partner relationships, negotiate/close deals, work with internal and external stakeholders to successfully launch.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the deal process for Six Clover’s payments protocol, managing each step from strategy/planning, pipeline development, prospecting, outreach, terms negotiation, contract drafting, and implementation.
  • Build relationships with executives at key partnership companies, and leverage relationships to uncover and pursue growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners and the marketing team to execute high impact partner marketing campaigns and develop collateral.
  • Create internal and external reports on partner and channel performance. Contribute insightful analysis to improve profitability for partners and Six Clovers.
  • Work with product management and engineering to define partner driven product initiatives that will help expand volume and growth.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Strong understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, payments, and fintech.
  • 8+ years of product and business development experience at high-growth tech companies with a strong preference for blockchain and fintech verticals.
  • A strong conceptual framework for ecosystem development and product readiness (tools, pricing, positioning, etc.)
  • A strong problem solver with outstanding relationship management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communicator via phone, email, and presentation to articulate value proposition, technical value, and financial impact.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills in deals involving multiple stakeholders, with the ability to persevere through long and complex deal processes.
  • Experience researching and analyzing new markets and verticals.
  • Technically savvy including experience in working with analytics, tracking/attribution, and API integrations.
  • Experience working with and managing solutions engineers is a plus
  • Must be assertive, able to work independently and in a cross-functional team, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with international payment systems or crypto platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with KYC, KYB, payment regulations, banking regulations, and compliance.
