Web3 Director of Operations

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Director of Operations with a passion for digital assets to join our Operating Team. Our Director of Operations will help ensure efficiency in the execution of all things related to custody, trading, and firm operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Building, documenting, and executing day-to-day crypto asset operations, including the review, approval, execution, and reconciliation for crypto asset transactions both for internal custody and external movement of funds
• Manage crypto assets within existing custody solutions; build out new, secure solutions as required for individual capital deployments
• Ensure trades, operations, and reconciliations follow a well-documented procedure and recording each step according to a well-defined and reviewed process
• Own relationships with various new and existing vendors (custodians, data providers, etc.)
• Identifying & managing initiatives to improve operational and security processes and reduce operational risk
• Monitoring operational and risk metrics and escalate potential issues or anomalies
• Partner with internal and external counsel to help execute and manage legal agreements related to investments, fund investors, and other operations
• Partner with senior leadership and help the firm grow by developing and implementing sustainable processes and best practices around technology systems, recruiting, and other firm operations

Required:

• 4+ years experience working in operations or similar role at a crypto-forward company
• Familiarity with crypto asset products and blockchain technology
• Aptness to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Emotionally calm and able to handle stressful situations
• Attention to detail, policy, and procedures

Preferred:

• Experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors (new systems implementations, etc.)
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Ability to work with all levels within the organization.
