Employee Engagement Program Manager
Kava Labs is seeking an ambitious and experienced Employee Engagement Program Manager to be an integral part of growing the Kava Team! We are growing fast and need a proficient Onboarding and Employee Engagement partner to play a pivotal role in forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, and define critical success factors for the business. You will work closely with our People teams to build our new hire onboarding experience, as well as define “Key Moments” in the employee lifecycle. You will work alongside a team of world-class crypto experts that work on an open-source project that transfers millions of dollars in assets daily, providing the financial primitives for the next evolution in crypto.
We are looking for your experience and perspective to contribute to our growing company culture! This is a US-based, full-time remote position. We are a 100% distributed workforce with teams in the US, Canada, Asian-Pacific, and Europe.
What You Will Do.
- Operations and Systems Management
- Streamline collection and storage of key employee information, and maintain ADP as source of truth for all employee data.
- Own content of the Manager Playbook resources
- Program / Project Management
- Own the development of people team initiatives and projects around employee engagement and report on key initiatives
- Develop processes and programs to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Manage project planning by balancing the People Team Roadmap with shifting business objectives
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with our Recruiting Ops program manager and the Head of Human Resources to ensure the integrity of the transition from candidate to new hire.
- Implement best practices and techniques to help managers understand their responsibility during ‘key moments’ (e.g., promotions, new hire welcome kits, etc.)
- Committed to Employee Engagement.
- Establish trusting relationships with employees across our global remote environment and serve as a point of contact for all matters related to the People team function.
- Determine retention opportunities and experiment where necessary to test and scale programs that result in higher job satisfaction, career development, and leader growth.
- Reports to the Head of Human Resources
Who You Are
- Minimum 3 years of HR/People Operations/Employee Engagement experience
- Minimum 1 year + of program/project management experience
- Nice to Have: Highly proficient in ADP / WFN
- Familiarity/comfort with GSuite, Lattice, Guru, and/or Slack
- Nice to Have: FinTech/high growth start-up, and remote experience
- Experience building and executing onboarding processes remotely
- Passion for understanding digital currency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
