Web3 Financial Operations Associate

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage financial operations for our fast growing Latin American businesses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Manage document requests, KYC and compliance requests from banking and payments partners
• Support trading and lending teams with client onboarding and Counter Due Diligence requests
• Manage Blockchain.com’s document and information storage and sharing platform, in accordance with company policies
• Coordinate getting documents signed, notarized, apostilled and delivered in a timely manner
• Work across multiple teams to gather information, and clearly communicate that information to counterparties.
• Assist in all other aspects of the business’s operations as they arise

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• 2+ years of paralegal experience (finance industry experience preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the successful candidate will be able to work effectively and build relationships with team members at all levels across the organization to accelerate delivery of the desired outcome.
• Understanding of legal and financial documents - the successful candidate will be expected to understand how to review NDAs, contracts, and other legal documents and forms.
• Understanding of complex entity and ownership structures and the ability to communicate that to financial partners
• Strong references as to integrity (experience with confidential document management preferred)
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple teams
• ‘Own the outcome’ attitude - the successful candidate will follow through to confirm delivery of assigned tasks.
• Humility and willingness to learn - the successful candidate will view every day as a learning opportunity.
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and the defi environment - what you don’t know, you’ll learn!
