Web3 Head of Tokenization

Role Overview

A Head of Tokenization acts as a bridge between traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). This leader designs digital asset products, handles regulatory rules, and works with engineering and compliance teams. This position is working for a top tier firm in NYC; must have an appetite for an entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy: Build and launch platforms that turn traditional assets into digital tokens on a blockchain.
• Product Design: Create product roadmaps, research token standards, and test blockchain solutions.
• Teamwork: Partner with technology, operations, legal, and compliance groups to integrate tokens safely.
• Client Relations: Meet with major investors and asset managers to present tokenization capabilities.
• Compliance: Track global market trends and U.S. financial regulations.

Required Experience

• Background: Over 5 to 10 years of experience in the blockchain space either at a protocol, in a BD org, or in an asset manager (blockchain focused VP). Additional financial services experience preferred
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, digital wallets, and DeFi tools.
• Market Knowledge: Strong grasp of traditional fund structures, clearing, settlement, and U.S. regulations.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, business, technology, or a related field
