What you’ll be responsible for:  As Ecosystem Growth Director on the Developer Marketing team, you will lead initiatives that expand opportunities for developers to build faster, better applications on Circle’s platform. You’ll shape the developer journey by driving open-source strategy, launching technical enablement tools, and showcasing innovative AI and Web3 use cases. With a deep understanding of engineering and developer ecosystems, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to improve developer experience, scale adoption, and support early-stage builders through strategic incentives and technical guidance.

What you'll work on: 

Lead strategic technical initiatives that accelerate developer adoption and platform growth.  Create and execute an open-source strategy, including a robust developer sandbox.  Build and maintain open-source libraries, demos, and production-grade code for community use.  Identify and support early-stage projects through Circle Grants and Bounties programs.  Collaborate cross-functionally to improve SDK usability and streamline developer onboarding.  Manage technical relationships with ecosystem partners and drive joint engineering initiatives.  Promote best practices and serve as a public-facing advocate for building with Circle.

What you’ll bring to Circle:  Core Requirements:

Proven experience at the intersection of AI and Web3 technologies.  Demonstrated ability to lead and scale impactful open source projects.  Track record of driving developer experience improvements and collecting actionable product feedback.  Experience working across product, engineering, and marketing teams to execute strategic initiatives.  Strong communication and storytelling skills to evangelize technical concepts to developer audiences.  Familiarity with building developer sandboxes, SDKs, or technical tooling for ecosystem growth. 

Preferred Requirements:

Experience representing technical platforms publicly through blogs, talks, or community engagement.  Background in designing or managing incentive programs like grants or bounties.  Prior success in building strategic technical partnerships with early-stage startups or platform providers.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $195,000 - 252,500
