Lead Smart Contracts Engineering (Blockchain) - Ascend Bit

Job Descriptions:

• Set technology roadmap for the blockchain platform leading the evolution and development of the platform in the cloud environment.
• Drive high-level decisions about ABC’s smart contract architecture and structured features
• ISO 27701, PDPA or GDPR knowledge and experience is must
• Provide leadership and mentoring, introduce technologies and techniques to the teams i.e smart contracts, cryptography and cloud native application development
• Shipping of smart contracts to production with non-negligible values.
• Guide and mentor team to design, implement, test, and audit smart contract upgrades and additions
• Help in scaling our on-chain infrastructure with L2 solutions
• Integrate new protocols and oracles on the set protocol ecosystem while working closely with the set team to drive directions and designed solutions
• Manage teams which handle different blockchain frameworks/protocols like Eathreum, HyperLedger Fabric, Corda, Tendermint etc.
• Develop, operate and drive scalable and resilient Smart contracts, cross chain API’s and Interops layers and applications.
• Ensure Platforms and Services meet SLA requirements with quality code and application frameworks.
• Build, recruit and lead a high performing team of software engineering leaders and engineers
• Work with business domain experts, product management, platform engineering teams, architect teams and application developers to deliver secure and resilient platforms

Requirements:

• Academic qualifications in computer sciences, engineering or any other technology related discipline.

• Experience in blockchain specialised in smart contracts for some important use cases to develop new products by exploring various open source or commercially available other blockchain products
• 5+ years Strong Engineering and software development background with (Minimum 2) in Java, Go, Python, Kotlin, Solidity, DAML, or Scala
• Proven experience and deep knowledge on smart contracts development, algorithms and cryptography
• 3+ years of experience of working with database (SQL, No SQL, Graph etc) systems, with expertise in cloud based data management applications and softwares.
• Understands how to work in Hybrid Cloud Environments & Cross Blockchain Frameworks
• Experience working in Agile Environment, SCRUM framework and DevOps.
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to apply creative and innovative thinking to solve highly complex problems and design trade-offs
• Good understanding of the current DEFI ecosystem (Curve, Balancer, AMMs, Yearn, Aave, Synthetix etc).
• Hands on exp on backend and web server development, able to abstract the complexity of low-level smart contract interactions with scripting and basic rest APIs.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including being able to explain highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Nice to have experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, bitbucket, cloud-based platforms; AWS, Google Cloud, streaming technologies; Kafka, AWS Kinesis
