Kraken is growing and we’re looking for a highly motivated, organized and creative Internal Communications Specialist  to join our Internal Communications team. The work you do will help Krakenites stay informed about the amazing projects happening across Kraken and feel connected to our mission and purpose. While there’s no “typical” day at Kraken, you’ll support and drive a wide variety of communications programs. You will partner with teams across the company to develop internal content and updates, and help to coordinate all-company events. 

This remote, US based, role reports to Kraken’s Internal Communications Director as a member of our Human Resources (KX) team. Given the rapid pace of our work, the Internal Communications Specialist will need to juggle and prioritize multiple competing projects in a fast paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will support and manage projects that impact our internal stakeholders and audiences, partnering with several teams on different projects and updates. 

You are process oriented, technically adept, and are always crossing your “t’s” and dotting your “i’s.” Finally, be ready to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment but know that sometimes we have to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly.

Join our mighty team as we work together to accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrency so that you and the rest of the world can achieve financial freedom and inclusion.   What You’ll Be Doing   - Manage/maintain editorial calendars, processes, workstreams and projects for the Internal Communications team - Help to coordinate the logistics for company-wide events, including post-event surveys and reporting - Serve as proof-reader and fact-checker on communications and updates as needed - Develop and implement workflow processes designed to increase team efficiency  - Assist in budget planning as well as manage and track expenses and invoicing - Coordinate weekly updates to internal communication channels and shared planning calendars - Carry out any special projects and duties depending on the teams’ vision & mission   Who You Are - You have 1-3 yrs experience in project management, ideally within a communications or marketing team - You’re no newbie when it comes to working with content and editorial calendars - You have a strong sense of urgency when projects are assigned and are able to complete a task quickly while anticipating the need to plan for another project in short succession - You’re highly organized and have an exceptionally high level of attention to detail - You have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and prioritize clarity & brevity in all communications - You have a highly collaborative work >
