Web3 Internationalization Program Manager

About the Team:

The localization team enables our products to be accessible in multiple languages and provides delightful local experiences for international customers. We have an agile team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors to ship international language launches and continuous localization of all customer-facing surfaces in products. The localization team is a strategic, customer-centric, and data-driven function within the product team.

About the Opportunity:

As an Internationalization program manager, you will be driving Internationalization programs to improve product global-readiness. This role is critical in ensuring the product localization scalability and maintainability.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Identify the company's current status and blind spots in internationalization
  • Define and execute Internationalization roadmap by driving collaboration with stakeholders across the company while ensuring on-time delivery
  • Lead and influence the technical decisions around standardization of Internationalization to provide cohesive and delightful local experience to customers (e.g. plurals/genders, ICU / CLDR integrations, bidi / RTL, i18n testing, best practices, etc.)
  • Communicate Internationalization program progress and strategy and align priorities with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Provide hands-on program management during end-to-end program life cycle
  • Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Evangelize globalization and internationalization best practices to cross-functional stakeholders

What We Look For In You:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years internationalization or localization program management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of software internationalization on website and mobile apps (iOS/Android)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of internationalization best practice and libraries
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence and communicate through data, also ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures

  • Action-oriented, dedicated self-starter
  • Proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
