Job Description Summary:
PayPal’s Blockchain, Crypto, and Digital Currencies unit (BCDC) is seeking a high-performing stablecoin ecosystem leader to drive net new PYUSD opportunities as Manager, Stablecoin Ecosystem Development. We are looking for a proven leader to cultivate a healthy ecosystem of third-parties building with and around PYUSD with the goal of accelerating PYUSD growth and adoption efforts. This includes not only developers, but founders, funders (VCs), service providers, and platform partners / channels.

Job Description:

• Ecosystem partnerships: Interact as a representative of PayPal Inc. with external entities including builders, founders, partners, vendors, media, and conferences on matters of blockchain technology to drive one-to-many adoption.
• Owned Programs and events – develop and project manage programs that move builders / developers into and through the funnel (grants, bounties, global hacks, accelerators / funds); lead event strategy, speaking & evangelism at owned and third-party events
• Cultivate pilots and feedback into the roadmap: Develop POCs and pilot projects that will evaluate PYUSD’s applicability, performance, and scalability. Participate in design, development, implementation, and testing of technical systems. Present findings, developing product road maps and making recommendations to other teams and to leadership up to and including the senior executive or board level. Work directly with development teams to share findings, market analysis and best practices for the use of blockchain technologies. Lead discovery for use cases that can further PayPal’s understanding of blockchain and specific blockchain implementations.
• Landscape analysis: utilize an understanding of digital technology transformations to make well analyzed decisions, keeping financial and economic implications in mind, to evaluate landscape of potential stablecoin builders and partners

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $84500 to $204600
