Job Summary:

Job Description: PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical  in New York, NY

Job Duties: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy focused on expanding payment methods such as bank payment, digital wallets, and stablecoins. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape for conceptualizing, innovating, and delivering awesome experiences to Fastlane merchants across the globe in a highly dynamic & complex payment processing domain. Review product analytics data to identify customer ‘s journey, usage patterns, and potential friction points. Work with external partnerships to identify external opportunities for payment methods. Determine product viability through commercialization analysis including market segmentation, opportunity sizing, revenue analysis, and OKR impact. Translate customer needs and business objectives into detailed functional and non-functional (infrastructure availability, optimization, and scalability) product requirements and user stories. Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.   Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the development and release of new payment methods.  Define complex technical payment processing requirements to achieve additional payment methods using API and SDK integrations. Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product development across Alpha, Beta, and growth phases.  Monitor product performance and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation through product enhancements such as reporting and dashboards. Communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Monitor adoption, Engagement, and Conversion KPIs to drive customer adoption/retention and plan future roadmap. Partial telecommuting permitted from a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

1.              developing and executing comprehensive product strategies that align with market trends, drive customer engagement, and achieve business objectives 2.              Conducting thorough user research and segmentation to identify target audiences, uncover user needs, and inform data-driven product decisions. 3.              creating detailed product roadmaps and prioritizing features based on strategic goals, user feedback, and market analysis to ensure timely and impactful product releases. 4.              conducting comprehensive market research and analyzing macroeconomic trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform strategic business decisions. 5.              leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning. 6.              defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement. 7.              various payment types and processing systems, ensuring secure, efficient, and seamless transactions across multiple platforms. 8.              defining and optimizing the product development lifecycle to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and ensure high-quality product delivery through continuous improvement and agile methodologies.  9.              leveraging blockchain technology to enhance payment security, transparency, and efficiency, ensuring reliable and tamper-proof transaction processing. 10.           leveraging generative AI technologies to automate tasks, enhance creativity, and drive innovation through advanced techniques such as prompt engineering   Preferred Qualification: EOE, including disability/vets.

Salary: $196,539.00-287,100.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
