DFINITY is hiring a Web3 Observability Engineer

As an Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, configuring, maintaining, and maximizing the platform that makes the Internet Computer and Development environments visible and investigable.
As Data Engineer, you’ll work on projects like:
- Design and tune time series metric collectors; such as Prometheus and Victoria Metrics
- Plan, implement and maintain observability platforms for multiple lifecycles
- Work on high transaction dashboards
- Create and optimize PromQL queries and recording rules
- Forecast resource requirements for metric collectors
- Codify and unify internal Grafana Dashboards
- Design and implement ELK Clusters for log aggregation
Background and Skills:
- 3+ years of industry experience with Prometheus, Grafana and ElasticSearch
- Degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of PromQL and Prometheus metric types
- Deep understanding of TSDB and WAL
- Kubernetes Experience
- Working experience using service discovery, alert manager, recording rules and query optimization
- Experience using VictoriaMetrics is a plus
- Good written communication and cross-site collaboration skills
- Experience running 24x7 production monitoring and metric services
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
