Job Summary

The Partnership Manager at Cool Cats LLC is a sales professional with branding and content partnership experience, who excels at ideating, pitching, negotiations and nurturing partnerships which can accelerate our brand to the next level. This unique role works closely with the marketing and product teams to on-board brand partners to extend the Cool Cats story.

As a partnerships manager, you will develop the brand partnership roadmap, identify the sweet spot of potential partners, asking: “How do our brands complement each other?” and “How can we partner in an authentic way that stays true to each of our brands’ core values?” With answers to these questions, you will then help craft co-branded product campaigns, which can include social media cross-promotion, PR and potentially event opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work through our extensive list of brand partners (established and in process) and create customized and fully tailored partnerships
  • Developing and delivering outstanding co-brand proposals/pitches
  • Brand representative for Cool Cats to brand partners and CAA (external licensing agent)
  • Using industry knowledge to source, scope, and close new partnership deal
  • Extremely comfortable with outreach to potential partners
  • Ensure all proposals are strategic and innovative
  • Closing and executing partnerships with brands and IP holders across a variety of categories beyond web3 and tech
  • Vet ideas and promotional materials from the partner’s business development team
  • Coordinate with the in-house product & marketing teams for execution of timely deliverables
  • Manage project calendars, tracking & analytics, reports, and communications
  • Stay on top of trends in the web3, gaming, and entertainment industries to inform future partnerships

Requirements

  • 5+ years of partnership/business development experience
  • A track record of growing, leading, and closing successful partnerships
  • Strong deck writing and presentations skills - a must!
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Experienced in negotiating terms of a strategic partnership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners
  • A self-starter mentality with the drive to secure partnerships
  • Experience working with the legal team to draft and execute legal agreements
  • Passion and knowledge of the web3 space!
  • Prior experience working within the tech, web3 or gaming markets a bonus
