Responsibilities
- End-to-end own the partnership pipeline from sourcing, identification, qualification, pitching, commercial structuring, negotiation, and deal closure, ensuring strong execution across the full partnership lifecycle.
- Identify, prioritize, and engage high-value partners across key markets and strategic verticals, and lead tailored partnership pitches aligned with business objectives.
- Lead commercial negotiations and drive partnership execution, including onboarding, launch planning, technical integration coordination, and post-signing implementation.
- Work closely with the Product and Operations team to ensure necessary product features, capabilities, or integration requirements are built and delivered to enable signed partnerships and commercial success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives and key decision-makers at strategic partner organizations to drive long-term collaboration and business growth.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, tech, compliance, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure effective alignment, governance, and execution of partnership initiatives.
- Oversee complex partnership projects across multiple workstreams, ensuring timely delivery, issue resolution, and strong stakeholder communication throughout the process.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and ecosystem developments to identify new partnership opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement of partnership processes, frameworks, and internal ways of working to enhance scalability, efficiency, and execution quality.
Requirements
- Significant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, commercial strategy, or ecosystem development, preferably in crypto, fintech, payments, technology, or related industries.
- Proven track record of independently owning and closing complex partnership deals from sourcing through negotiation and execution.
- Strong understanding of relevant local market(s), with the ability to identify, access, and engage key industry players and decision-makers. Sharp business sense and strong strategic and analytical skills to identify partnership and growth opportunities across specific regions and jurisdictions.
- Strong interest in and solid understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the broader digital asset ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across product, tech, legal, compliance, operations, and commercial teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and product collaboration processes; ability to translate commercial partnership needs into product and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external senior stakeholders.
- Professional fluency in English is required to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Mandarin is also required. Additional languages would be a strong advantage.
- Highly disciplined, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently with strong ownership and execution capabilities.
