Web3 Payment Operations Specialist

Your mission

As a Payment Operations Specialist at Bitpanda, your mission is to investigate customers' payment problems, monitor systems and payment providers in order to solve operational issues, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional user experience.

What you’ll do

• Promptly and effectively address user inquiries and requests related to crypto and fiat transactions via our efficient ticket system contributing to enhancing our customers' overall satisfaction with our platform. Conduct basic fraud investigations, employing your expertise in identifying and analyzing suspicious account activities. Your sharp eye for detecting potential risks will help us maintain the highest level of security and protect our valued users.

• Engage with corporate bank accounts or payment providers and establish productive partnerships with external companies. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of the payment ecosystem, allowing us to deliver outstanding services to our growing user base.

• Provide input and feedback and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems, payment providers, and processes. By leveraging your knowledge and insights, you will help shape the future of payments and cryptocurrencies, driving innovation and efficiency.

• Provide exceptional internal support but also extend your expertise externally. Your comprehensive understanding of payment operations and cryptocurrencies will position you as a trusted advisor to our partners and stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

• To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in fintech companies, particularly in payments or risk department positions. Your familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, fraud patterns, and payment schemes will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and security of our payment processes.

• Passion for cryptocurrencies is a must. Your genuine interest in this rapidly evolving field will drive your motivation to stay at the forefront of industry trends and developments. This enthusiasm will enable you to provide valuable insights and guidance to our users, cementing Bitpanda's position as a leading platform in the crypto space.

• Fluency in English is essential, as it will facilitate seamless communication within our international team and with our global user base.

• Availability for shift work (7am until 3.30pm or 10am to 6.30pm) and weekend work to ensure seamless payments operations support.
