Web3 Payroll Manager

The Global Payroll Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing payroll operations across multiple regions, including EMEA, APAC, and NA. This critical role requires extensive experience in payroll management, working knowledge of HRMS tools like Rippling, strong collaboration with global payroll vendors, and a deep understanding of local compliance regulations. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the payroll function, playing a key role in supporting our international workforce.

Oversees the daily payroll workflows including payroll system adjustments, payroll personnel deliverable reviews and assignments.

Coordinate with PEO, EOR and payroll processing firms to ensure accurate billing and payroll processing.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees across EMEA, APAC, and NA regions.
• Oversee the preparation, processing, and timely delivery of payroll for various countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other relevant stakeholders to gather necessary data, maintain employee records, and manage changes in employee status impacting payroll.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of HRMS tools like Rippling and other payroll software, ensuring efficient utilization and troubleshooting as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with global payroll vendors, ensuring seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
• Stay updated with changes in local payroll and tax regulations in different regions and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Monitor payroll-related metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to management and recommending process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure proper accounting, reconciliation, and reporting of payroll transactions.
• Handle complex payroll inquiries, discrepancies, and escalations, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Lead payroll-related audits, both internal and external, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the payroll function's effectiveness and reduce potential risks.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the payroll team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Coordinate with Tax Manager and Total Rewards Manager on tax and compensations related matters. 

What you’ll need- Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with external payroll partners including PEO/EOR or payroll processors in various jurisdictions.
• International payroll management experience is required
• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite. 
• Proficient with payroll software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
• Three to five years of related experience as a manager is required.
