You will:

• Be the point-of-contact for first line HR related matters including being the HRIS Namely guru.
• Work closely with People Operations leadership to develop, resolve and support the employees at Nova Labs with all HR-related matters.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to administer benefits and employee policies.
• Develop, maintain, and improve the employee handbook and related external guidelines for the broader company.
• Partner with internal teams to help develop employee culture, engagement, and learning opportunities.
• Help develop and support open enrollment, new benefits, benefits renewals, and assist with communications as needed.
• Work closely with People Operations leadership to develop HR programs and compensation philosophies.
• Partner with the Legal Team to ensure the company is in compliance with programs and policies as they develop and scale.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• The target level in years of experience for this role is approximately 3-4 years of professional experience specifically in an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or People Operations Specialist role.
• Expert level experience and knowledge with the Namely HRIS.
• Expert experience with tools and platforms related to HRIS (Namely), benefits, immigration, and international employee base.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and benefits.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to the ever-changing start-up environment.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Experience or passion in blockchain/crypto space.

Compensation:

• Total compensation structure at Nova Labs is base salary + equity.
• Nova Labs is a remote-first company and takes a market-based approach to base salary pay.
• Pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. For candidates outside of metro market areas, we use the state average.
• The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
• The salary pay scale for the target experience and target skill set across all locations for this role: $64,000 - $108,000
