Web3 Procurement Specialist

Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing, coordinating, and assuring that spend meets key business criteria; consulting with internal teams to ensure licensing is met and finding suppliers that produce quality products. You have a direct impact on Figment’s ability to get the right tools and products to enable the organization to succeed and deliver on its mission!

What you will be doing

  • Manage day-to-day vendor relations and seek out growth or revision opportunities.
  • Purchase goods, services and licensing that meet the quality standandards and quality expectations
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
  • Track inventory and restock goods and licensing when needed
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
  • Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
  • Act as the internal point of contact for vendor complaint resolution; conduct regular vendor meetings and implement performance improvement strategies with vendors
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure that delivery dates and technical and contractual requirements are met.
  • Participate in review meetings with cross-functional teams to manage vendor performance.
  • Actively seek ways to streamline business processes; research and provide information on industry category trends and best practices
  • Validate invoicing, licensing and asset reviews
  • Responsible for gathering and preparing documents like quotes, proposals and purchase terms and conditions from suppliers for their supervisor to review
  • Make suggestions for opportunities to reduce product and service costs
  • Drive tracking and reporting for assigned spend areas. Perform data analysis and modeling
  • Research and find suppliers that produce quality items within the business’ budget

What you will bring to the team

  • Proven track record of working with vendors and purchasing with at least 2+ years of experience
  • Clear understanding of licensing models and budget allocation
  • Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build and nurture relationships
  • Being keen to solve problems, juggle multiple priorities and drive projects autonomously
  • A strong sense of responsibility in maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Experience in dealing with licensing model
