The Role
RippleX is growing rapidly, with ambitious plans to support the developer community. The Accelerator Program Manager will launch an Accelerator program this year that will incubate, support, and help scale the ecosystem of developers and projects built on the XRP Ledger. We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented, and passionate individual to own this program from start to launch. Reporting to the RippleX Director of Growth, this is a leadership opportunity to build something from the ground up, setting the strategy, driving internal buy-in, recruiting a network of mentors and funders, and then running the day to day operations of the program. This an opportunity to have a tremendous impact in helping developers scale their projects from proof of concept to groundbreaking applications built on XRPL.
This role is based in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the overall plan and strategy for the RippleX Accelerator Program and execute on that plan
- Put together intensive programming for developers, including developing program content and curriculum, and continuously revising this curriculum to align with best practices and industry changes
- Recruit, vet, and select participants for the Accelerator Program, in conjunction with internal and external experts
- Manage the day to day operations of the Accelerator Program - run the program, including working closely with cohort developers to understand their needs and support them throughout their time in the program
- Identify, recruit and onboard mentors and advisors for the program; work to match cohort developers to advisors and mentors and set up meetings for developers with experts across industry
- Plan and drive culture building and networking events for developers in the program, including a Demo Day and other ways to showcase their projects to the broader community
- Work closely with RX leadership to develop new strategies, assess program strengths and address areas for improvement
- Design processes, playbooks, and policies to standardize and scale the Accelerate program
Requirements:
- 5 years + previous startup / tech experience, ideally in an operations-based role
- Ability to lead a small team and manage the program from beginning to end - project management and client-facing experience are ideal, alongside being a quick learner
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to all stakeholders.
- An ability to think creatively to solve problems and to work without being closely managed
- Understanding and engagement within the venture and startup ecosystem; and a network within that ecosystem is a plus
- Cryptocurrency or blockchain technology ecosystem knowledge a plus
- Ability to build and manage relationships with software developers
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
