Web3 Senior Art Director

As the Senior Art Director you will lead and manage the art team’s vision and artistic direction. This position would be responsible for leading a growing team, establishing direction, consistency and helping to establish our web3 game’s identity. 

What You'll Do:

• You will oversee the creation and completion of the art vision for the game, also ensuring art demands are met on time and are delivered in support of design and technical requirements
• Manage the creative delivery of visual benchmarks
• Direct and lead the creative delivery of all art deliverables
• Liaison with agencies and freelancers to ensure the best individuals and services are aligned to the creative goals
• Work with production and leadership to manage project scope
• Manage the balance between optimization and visual quality

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in an art leadership roleExperience working with Pixel & Voxel format similar to Minecraft, The Sandbox, etc.
• Hands on experience creating, importing and implementing art and animation within Unity 
• Shipped and supported at least one title as an Art Director or equivalent
• Experience in setting vision early in a projectPrevious leadership in managing a group of UI artists 
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to apply expert level art judgment on form, perspective, color, >
• Highly skilled at providing direction, guidance and mentoring tailored to the skill level of team members across all Art discipline
• Experience in partnering with an external art team
• Familiar with game pipelines and their restrictions
• Able to communicate the artistic vision and deliver concise, upwards feedback to key stakeholders
• Healthy curiosity about what blockchain technology can do for the future of the games industry.
• Ideally, you have some experience either learning about, investing, or playing with blockchain applications or technology.
