We're partnering with a global early-stage VC fund to find their newest team addition - Senior Investor.

As they raise their next fund, they are particularly excited about companies using blockchain technology to reshape how financial services are built and delivered. Evaluating these opportunities well requires deep knowledge of the space and a strong network within fintech - and that is what this hire is about.

The fund backs founders at Seed and Series A across crypto, AI, and fintech globally. The team is small, the hierarchy is genuinely flat, and they've been on the founder side themselves - which is exactly why founders actually like having them on their cap table.

The Role

This is not a passive sourcing seat. You'll be expected to show up on day one with your own deal flow, your own perspective, and your own conviction. You'll generate opportunities, lead deals, sit on boards, and go deep with founders who are rethinking financial services from the ground up.

In practice, that means:

🔹 Building a strong market presence across global fintech and crypto networks

🔹 Generating deal flow - proactively, not reactively

🔹 Bringing sharp, informed judgment to IC discussions on what actually makes an opportunity worth backing

🔹 Leading deals and working closely with founders post-investment, including joining boards

🔹 Going deep with founders who are rethinking financial services through technology

You'll thrive here if you:

✔ Have spent most of your career investing in fintech with a strong, active network to show for it

✔ Have a sharp, informed view on how emerging tech is reshaping financial services

✔ Can defend a conviction in an IC discussion and enjoy doing it

✔ Are comfortable, genuinely comfortable, with autonomy and limited structure

✔ Are based in New York, open to relocating, or willing to be there regularly
