Illuvium is hiring a Web3 Senior Lighting Artist
Compensation: $70k - $100k estimated

Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Lighting Artist who is ready to work on the cutting edge of lighting and game graphics technology. We let our creativity go wild and combine that with technical skill, layering lighting with top quality 3D modeling to help bring a beautiful worlds to life. This position requires a high level of artistry and mastery of tools to achieve the best lighting results in an open world game. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining 3D assets that strengthen the production value of our in game, video and cinematic content.

Illuvium Labs is an independent game development studio based in Sydney, Australia. We develop blockchain based games for the Illuvium DAO. We have developed a strong culture of independence with our team, preferring candidates who can articulate their own vision and goals. Responsibilities

Creating dramatic and compelling lighting

Using light to establish depth and layering in a scene

Using light to enhance environmental storytelling

Deconstructing lighting and textures in a physically based renderer to establish appropriate color correct values

Keeping artistic >

Collaborating and communicating constructively with Designers, Engineers and Technical Artists

Ensuring that all lighting deliverables are completed fully and in line with the production schedule
Skills & Qualifications

At least 5+ years of experience in the role of Lighting / Environment Artist on AAA games or the CGI industry

Excellent knowledge of lighting tools and pipelines - Excellent knowledge of direct and indirect light, luminance, color theory, and composition

Solid knowledge of the technical and performance limitations of real-time lighting

Self-driven to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality

The ability to easily cooperate with others

Fluent English
