What You’ll Do:

• Advise, develop and oversee control systems to detect, prevent and manage violations of legal requirements and internal policies across Figure’s Marketplace’s business, which includes Figure’s cap table management product, alternative trading system, digital funds services and passport solution
• Serve as Compliance resource for the building of new products and maintenance of existing products, conducting regulatory research as necessary, drafting disclaimers and disclosures, conducting testing, and reviewing application flows and product processes
• Ensure legal and regulatory advice is implemented and review changes to the products to ensure continued compliance with applicable laws
• Conduct pre- and post-change testing to ensure changes were implemented correctly, and did not create any other issues
• Build a regulatory change management program for Marketplace, identifying applicable regulatory changes, tracking and recording all changes through implementation and working with Product to implement necessary changes
• Drive corrective action process across all Marketplace products, including collaborating across business units to resolve and document issues
• Maintain existing policies and procedures and draft new policies and procedures
• Partner closely with the Legal, Product, Business, Finance and Engineering to help build Figure’s Marketplace business, including its primary and secondary trading securities offerings and digital fund subscriptions product
• Primary secondary securities offerings

What We Look For:

• 5 to 10 years of financial services compliance experience
• Thorough knowledge of and direct experience working with U.S. securities, broker-dealer and BSA/AML laws and regulations
• Experience with primary securities offerings, secondary trading and digital funds subscription
• Knowledge of and experience with blockchain applications a plus
• Strong knowledge of control frameworks and the ability to design and evaluate effectiveness of controls embedded within business processes
• Experience designing compliance testing programs
• Easily able to collaborate with team members of all levels in order to form strong working relationships with in a fast-paced work environment
• Effectively communicate compliance and regulatory obligations to various business units in order to help them collectively meet enterprise growth initiatives
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
