Web3 Senior Network Engineer

About the Opportunity:

The IT team is responsible for the hardware and software that Okcoin employees use on a daily basis to successfully do their jobs. The IT team also is responsible for Onboarding and Offboarding collaborating with HR. This also means supporting endpoint devices such as macOS, iOS and Android devices. In addition the IT Team helps support software as a service (SaaS) solutions like G Suite, Lark, Zoom, Jamf, Okta and more.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with other Network Engineers to design and implement functional company networks.
  • Installing and configuring networking hardware.
  • Creating and implementing network security measures.
  • Managing and mentoring other IT staff members.
  • Conducting regular network performance tests.
  • Implementing Monitoring and setting up alerts
  • Dealing with escalated network support issues.
  • Drawing up network status reports.
  • Able to work with distributed teams in multiple time zones

What We Look For In You:

  • Previous work experience of 5+ year as a networking engineer.
  • Advanced knowledge of Fortinet network operating systems.
  • Knowledge of other Network Operating Systems, Juniper, Cisco, etc.
  • Knowledge of networking hardware including CPUs, wiring, and routers.
  • Familiarity with communication and routing protocols.
  • Knowledge of VPN, IPSEC, SDWAN and other tunneling technologies.
  • Familiarity with network analysis tools.
  • Proficiency with coding languages including Python and Perl.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • High level problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Bi-lingual. Fluency in Mandarin.
