What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve existing software delivery processes and drive the adoption of best practices.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure and deployments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Manage and monitor network configurations for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to performance, deployment, and infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions to simplify and enhance the CI/CD process.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong programming skills in scripting languages, such as JavaScript or Python.
  • Expertise in at least one major cloud provider, such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Solid understanding of network configuration, protocols, and security.
  • Hands-on experience with popular CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodeBuild.

We'd Also Like to See:

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools, like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data flows, privacy, and security to identify potential risks and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working with both open-source and closed-source code, as well as various source control systems.

We’d love to hear from you even if you don’t have experience or interest in every bullet. There’s no perfect candidate and we want to find the right fit, even if it’s different than we imagine. We especially would like to meet underrepresented/underestimated candidates.

What we’ll offer:

  • Competitive NYC based Salary (regardless of location, benchmarked annually)
  • Company equity.
  • Open Vacation Policy, take the days you need
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Your choice of technical setup and equipment
