Web3 Solutions Engineer

A bit about us:

NFTs (unique digital assets stored on a blockchain), are exploding into a global asset class at rapid speed. The biggest companies in the world in gaming, finance, digital art, and collectables are either actively building or strategising their entry into the market.

However, blockchain assets right now are highly illiquid: transactions take minutes or hours to confirm, Ethereum can process fewer than 5 asset trades per second for the whole world combined, and the UX is very challenging for mainstream users. 

To solve this problem, we have built Immutable X: the leading open-ecosystem scaling solution to trade and create NFTs on Ethereum. We’re a protocol: that means we enable other businesses to create and trade NFTs with no gas fees, completely carbon neutral, and in a truly decentralised manner. 

About the role:

We are looking for a Solutions engineer to help onboard large businesses onto Immutable X. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be explaining and guiding integrations of Immutable X into our high-touch clients and billion-dollar businesses. You will have deep knowledge of our APIs and the use-cases that can be built from them, and will use these to recommend better approaches to customers’ solutions and architect their integration. You are able to answer questions both technically and with a commercial / business lens. You are influential, approachable and customer-centric, and you have ambitions to grow a global, industry-defining product to worldwide success at one of Australia’s fastest growing startups.

You will provide technical leadership and guidance to integrating customers and partners of Immutable X, helping them to get to market faster, with a more valuable implementation. You will be capable at operating at detail and at high-level abstractions; doing everything from interpreting business outcomes and designing step by step API guides, to recommending high-level technical architecture and business decisions and persuading partners on why that may be the best choice.

You should be comfortable interfacing with business partners through discord, email, slack, and face-to-face calls, including with CTO / CEO profiles who may be more commercial rather than technical. A solutions engineer must be an architect and business consultant who can interpret the goals of our partners, and recommend their dream solutions, as defined by functionality available in Immutable X. You will then take these solutions and bring them to life by working with partners, and making any internal product  feedback / recommendations necessary. 

Ultimately, you are creating solutions for our partners, enabling our sales and integrations team to be successful in launching partners’ dream businesses on Immutable X.
