Web3 Sr Engineer - Engagement & Subscriptions

Forbes is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineer to join our Engagement and Subscriptions Group. It will be your responsibility to participate in shaping how Forbes addresses the challenges of user accounts and engaging with content across our many products. From establishing technical design patterns to developing strategies for integrating with new and emerging technologies, ranging from ETL pipelines to blockchain, this role has a wide array of exciting problems to solve.

Primary Role:

• Feature development and mentoring for engineering excellence

Core Competencies:

• Strong full-stack web development ability
• Strong skills in JavaScript and Node.js
• Comfortable with MongoDB, Firebase, or MySQL
• Knowledge of methods for unit, integration and end to end testing
• Deep understanding of the full technical stack
• BigQuery and/or GCP experience preferred
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks is a plus but not required
