Web3 Sr. Technical Artist (Procedural)

Parallel Studios is developing the next AAA sci-fi franchise and leveraging blockchain/nft tech to deploy our IP as cards, games, comics, movies, & more! We are fast moving, innovative, & flexible in a way that has allowed us to grow rapidly into one of, if not the most well-regarded nft gaming companies in the world. We aim to continue breaking ground as we merge blockchain tech with traditional entertainment to create a new paradigm in which the users own parts of the digital worlds they grow to love.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Work with technical Artists, Artists and Engineers.
• Design scalable systems to procedurally generate different types of content that fit within the Parallel IP.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has hands on experience creating procedural content generation with Houdini and other procedural content tools such as Adobe Substance.
• Is able to produce procedural systems that that follow a given art direction, adhere to technical constraints and can be integrated into production pipelines.
• Has worked on video-games and/or VFX.
• Uses Houdini, VEX and Python
• Nice to haves - Deep understanding of realtime engines and different hardware constraints + Experience working with real world geographic databases, coordinate systems and data manipulation.
