- you will join a greenfield and full of challenges project in Web3,
- you will meet an innovative SRE approach; automation, observability, high availability, passwordless, zero trust security,
- you will work with the newest technologies like Kubernetes, GCP, Grafana Cloud and GitHub Actions,
- you will have significant influence on our technology stack, spearhead innovative tech solutions, and play a pivotal role in shaping our infrastructure,
- there will be a minimum of operational work and we have no physical infrastructure, we are Cloud Native.
Your future work will include
- technical mentorship with focusing not only on reliability but also on maintainability & security - implementing the least privileges and DRY principle,
- designing and implementing highly available and scalable systems in the Google Cloud Platform,
- collaboration with other engineering and product teams,
- evangelisation of SRE principles in the whole Ramp,
- designing and implementing reliable CI/CD processes,
- managing infrastructure review process - ensuring it’s safe and correct,
- planning tasks and setting up the priorities - proposing and driving initiatives,
- managing Kubernetes,
- hardening our systems' security,
- increasing observability; implementing and analyzing monitoring and alerting systems,
- last, but not least - automating manual processes.
What we are looking for in candidates
- 5+ years of experience in working as a DevOps / SRE / Cloud Engineer or similar position,
- 5+ years of experience with working and managing Cloud (preferably GCP),
- experience in managing the architecture and automation of infrastructure within a cloud environment,
- in-depth knowledge of large-scale systems design,
- experience with managing and designing CI/CD workflows (preferable GitHub Actions),
- experience with orchestrating and implementing CI/CD workflows (preferably with GitHub Actions),
- observability-driven approach - experience with modern monitoring tools,
- having a strong drive to work with all engineering teams towards common goals,
- strong technical mentorship,
- experience in Infrastructure development life cycle,
- deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (especially Kubernetes),
- experience in the modern programming languages at least for scripting purposes (e.g. Python, Go, JavaScript),experience implementing IaaC (especially Terraform),
- Linux knowledge and bash scripting,
- deep knowledge of modern web applications infrastructures and designing them to be scalable and reliable,
- ability to confidently communicate verbally in English.
Nice to have
- experience with OpenTelemetry,
- extensive security knowledge.
